Tottenham fell further into crisis over the weekend.
A nightmare run for Ange Postecoglou continued on Sunday as his Spurs side lost 3-2 to a struggling Everton.
Spurs have now won just once in 10 Premier League games, their only victory coming against lowly Southampton.
They also face another busy week. Postecoglou’s side travel to Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday before hosting Leicester on Sunday.
While there may be deeper issues at play to explain such poor form, Spurs’ injury crisis cannot be ignored.
With that in mind, here’s a look at Tottenham’s latest injuries.
Dominique Solanke
Star striker Dominic Solanke missed the Everton game after injuring his knee in training.
Speaking after the match, Postecoglou revealed Solanke was facing “a few weeks” of inactivity.
“He just went and shot it on his own and kind of twisted it, so we don’t think it’s serious, but probably a few weeks at this point from what I’ve heard,” the United coach revealed. Spurs.

Brennan Johnson
His compatriot Brennan Johnson also missed the Toffees defeat, having suffered a strain during the north London derby defeat to Arsenal earlier this month.

Yves Bissouma
Key midfielder Yves Bissouma did not feature in Sunday’s game, although Postecoglou revealed the Mali international could return for the Leicester game next weekend.
“Biss was a big blow, we hope he is right next weekend,” he said.

Rodrigo Bentancur
While Rodrigo Bentancur assured Spurs fans he was “all good” after beating Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Liverpool, the midfielder still has to go through protocols of concussion.

Back-up goalkeeper Fraser Forster may have lost his place to new signing Antonin Kinsky, but is now back in training after illness.

Striker Timo Werner injured his hamstring after the FA Cup win over Tamworth and is expected to miss around a month of action.

Micky van de Ven has not played since the Carabao Cup win over Manchester City in October, but is expected to return towards the end of January.
Earlier this month, Postecoglou hinted that the Dutchman could return by the “end” of this month.

Fellow first-choice defender Cristian Romero is out with a quad injury after previously suffering a foot problem.
